Summary: Every few months, Beata makes the 400 km trip from Reestkii to Niima Station to pick up any children orphaned or stranded with the scavengers. Every few months, one child refuses to leave.
Notes: I decided to write "Rey on Jakku" as soon as I saw this prompt, but it still took me the better part of a week to figure out how I was going to actually write the damn thing. Pretty sure this is the first non-Legends SW fic I've written yet.
