starwarsflashmemeDreamwidth doesn't have rich text in comments (only in posts) so you'll have to use HTML if you want any special formatting. Here is some HTML to copy and paste for italics, links, etc:
Italics:
<i>Your italic text here</i>
Bold:
<b>Your bold text here</b>
Links:
<a href="http://www.yourlinkhere.com">Link text here</a>
(you can also simply copy and paste a link, and it will auto-format as long as the "http://" is included)
