Week 1 - Star Wars Flashmeme social post

This is a total experiment but I thought I'd try it -- halfway through each challenge period (give or take a bit), a socializing post patterned after the social posts at fan_flashworks, to a) remind people of this week's challenge, and b) provide a place to chat.

If you want help brainstorming, need to ask a canon question, or want to talk about future prompt ideas (I have a short list, but I'm entirely open to suggestions!), this is the place. Discussion is not limited to this week's prompt; anything generally related to the comm, Star Wars, or Star Wars fic is on topic.

Social posts are not locked, so keep that in mind. Anonymous commenting is on.

Not related to this prompt, but I'm looking for a beta for a Lando-centric fic (partly set between episodes 6 and 7, partly post-7), if anyone's interested! 5k, mostly gen.

I could give it a whirl on beta. :D I love Lando, but I'm kind of new to the fandom (long-time viewer, first time actually being in the fandom, per se) so I'm not really up on all the ins and outs of canon. So it might be more of a SPAG beta than a canon beta. But if that's fine, I can PM you my email addy!

I don't really care about extended canon like that, it's mostly a question of making sure the character voices aren't too far off and there aren't any gaping plotholes. I think that would work, thanks so much! :)

Hey there! I'm currently writing a Jessika/Rey fic for this challenge and wanted to see if any femslashers have been active in the TFA fandom yet. I know we don't have a ton to work with, but we're nothing if not tenacious.

Yay, so excited about this comm! I was planning on writing a sequel to my Kylo Ren/Luke Skywalker series of short ficlets (in my defense, it was all doreyg's fault LOL) and this week's prompt is perfect and just the kick I needed. ;)
